inclusive student support services susan bosanquet

Susan holds a Masters Degree in Special Education with Distinction and is completing a Diploma in Counselling.

Susan has been advocating for children and young adults with a range of Special Needs for more than 15 years. She has worked both in private practice and various school settings, including mainstream, support units and schools for specific purposes.

She is proficient in providing support to children with complex needs.

Susan continually refines her practice, to ensure she implements current evidence based practices, which best support children and young adults who present with ADHD, autism, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, who are non-verbal and other presentations that impair their functioning at school and home. She works closely with the school and families to put in place skills-based strategies to help them leverage their strengths to overcome challenges and improve their relationships and quality of life.

Susan is continually refining her practice through further study and research.

Susan is the coordinator of Autism support groups in Cambodia, providing connections and collaboration for families of children with autism.

In her leisure time, Susan enjoys reading the bible, going for walks with her dog ‘Yobbo’, practising yoga, going on motorbike road/foodie trips with her husband and enjoying her adult children.

Susan and her husband are also involved in supporting the needs of people living in poverty in Cambodia.

Wonderfully made. To be included.
